The Opportunity
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to fill a 1-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced clinical environment while earning competitive pay and benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
- Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
- Monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
Qualifications:
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
