To succeed in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel, including professional and ancillary staff. You should also have technical/motor skills, such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures or using department equipment. In addition, you must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. A valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing and BLS certification are also required.
