Job Description:
At Fusion Medical Staffing, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients, and we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Long Term Care RN to join our team. This is a 13 week travel assignment for a Long Term Care RN in CITY & STATE.
The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care nursing and be able to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. The position requires the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, think critically, and make sound judgments. Additionally, the candidate should be able to communicate effectively and provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Completes nursing assessments of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other healthcare team members
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
Requirements:
- Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- One to three years' experience as an RN preferred
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
- Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
