What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Imaging Professional position at Fusion Medical Staffing?
We're looking for a highly skilled Medical Imaging Professional to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Waimea, HI. As a Medical Imaging Professional, you'll be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Radiology license and experience working with CT equipment. You'll work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
Job Duties:
- Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue
- Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Radiology license
- Experience working with CT equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and lift equipment (50-100lbs)
