Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. The successful candidate will have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and a valid SLP license in the state where they will be practicing. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a rehabilitation setting, helping patients to recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.
Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of communication disorders, including aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia of speech. They will also need to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed. In addition, the Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, participating in regular meetings and training sessions, and adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong understanding of speech-language pathology principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. A background check and drug screen may be required prior to hire.
