About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, SC. As a CVOR Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular surgeries.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transport patients as needed
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a Technician preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Valid surgical technologist license if applicable
- BLS certification
