Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One to three years of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
