About the Role:
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This opportunity will allow you to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Completes nursing assessments of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other healthcare team members
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Monitors and evaluates patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit
Requirements:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel
