About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Ottawa, KS.
As a travel ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an intensive care setting while on a travel assignment. This includes collaborating with medical teams, administering medications, monitoring patients' responses, and ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any changes or concerns to medical teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
Requirements
To be successful as a travel ICU RN, you must have:
- A valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing.
- BLS certification.
- Critical Care Nursing Certification (CCRN) is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit setting.
