Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapist with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Your primary responsibility will be to administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines. You will also educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding occupational therapy on an ongoing basis, observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings as appropriate, and follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, technical/motor skills, mental requirements, and sensory abilities. You must be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams, as well as manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you must have at least one to three years' experience as a OT, be registered (OTR), have a valid OT license, and BLS certification.
