We are currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit at a client facility in Roanoke, VA.
About the Position
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in step-down or intermediate care nursing. They will also have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification.
Responsibilities
The nurse will be responsible for providing patient care, collaborating with physicians and other health team members, administering medications, and monitoring patients' responses to interventions.
What We Look For
We are looking for a nurse who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and has strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
They must also be able to lift, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50-100 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
