About the Job:
This travel assignment requires a Physical Therapist with a valid PT license in the state where they will be practicing and BLS certification. One to three years experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred. The successful candidate will possess critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, and physical abilities such as remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. The job involves communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members, providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members, monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes, administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation, monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit, sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required, maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies, transporting patients as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
