We are looking for a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on the lives of patients.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have one year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist with a valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations and current BLS certification. Additionally, ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems
- Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
- Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
Requirements:
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
