About the Job:
This is a 13-week travel assignment in Bemidji, MN, where you will work as a Respiratory Therapist in an Obstetrics setting. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, administering medications, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, transporting patients, and performing other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
Requirements:
- One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Other certifications may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
- Physical abilities: remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
