Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment
- Educating patients, other health professionals and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis
- Observing and evaluating patient responses during treatment, documenting and reporting findings accordingly
- Following hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- A valid SLP license in the state where you will be practicing
- BLS certification
- One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred
Salary : $1,244 - $1,499
