Travel Speech Therapist Job Description
As a travel speech therapist at Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medically prescribed speech therapy to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment, educate patients and other health professionals about speech therapy, and observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment.
Qualifications and Requirements:To be considered for this position, you must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), a valid SLP license in the state where you will be practicing, and BLS certification. Experience as an SLP is also preferred. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel, and be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally.
