Travel Cath Lab Tech Position Overview
The Travel Cath Lab Tech position involves providing specialized care and technical support in a catheterization laboratory over a 13-week assignment. Candidates will collaborate with healthcare teams, administer medications, monitor patient responses, and ensure cleanliness and preparedness of the work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) license
- BLS certification
- One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
