Position: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room
A 13-week Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse travel assignment is available in Midland, TX. We're looking for a qualified nurse to join our team.

- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Other certifications may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential
- You should be able to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions. PC skills are also necessary.
- You'll need to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- You'll communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- You'll provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
- You'll monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
- You'll administer medications as ordered with proper documentation.
- You'll monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedure depending on the unit.
- You'll share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
- You'll maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- You'll transport patients as needed.
- You'll perform other duties as assigned.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with various personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Technical/motor skills to grasp, fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
- Mental requirements to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. You must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. You must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail.
- Sensory - visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate.
