Our client is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and newborns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients and document accurate medical information
- Administer medications as ordered and monitor patients' responses to interventions
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures
- Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in Labor and Delivery nursing with a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing
- BLS certification and Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull equipment, and stand for long periods
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and flexible scheduling as needed
Salary : $1,766 - $2,128
