We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Norwalk, CT for a 13-week travel assignment. **Responsibilities:**
As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and newborns
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in labor and delivery nursing
**Requirements:**
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
One to three years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
BLS certification
Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
