Responsibilities:
As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. Your duties will include:
Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members
Providing and coordinating patient care with other healthcare team members
Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
Transporting patients as needed
Requirements:
Labor and delivery nursing experience is necessary
Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing
BLS certification
Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) is preferred
