Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to postpartum patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other qualified healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in postpartum nursing care.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing.
- BLS certification.
- Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) preferred.
- One to three years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
