Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Las Cruces, NM for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing staff at our partner hospital.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessments, treatments, and education* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care* Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes* Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate records* Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures* Perform other duties as assigned by management*
**Requirements:**
* One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor and Delivery* Valid RN license in the state where practicing, BLS certification, and Inpatient Obstetric Nursing Certification (RNC-OB) preferred* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment* Physical abilities include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds* Ability to grasp, fine manipulate, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment* Sensory requirements include visual acuity and effective communication*
