Travel Long Term Care RN Job Overview

The Travel Long Term Care RN is a 13-week assignment that requires providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Nursing Assessments: Completes nursing assessments of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records.
Collaboration: Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Patient Care: Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members, including administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
Additional Duties: Shares on-call responsibilities, maintains cleanliness of rooms, transports patients as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• One to three years' experience as an RN preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
• Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing.
• BLS certification.
