Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Long Term Care/LTC at a facility in [CITY & STATE]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Complete thorough nursing assessments of patients on the unit and document findings accurately into patient records.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to promote optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the medical team.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- One to three years' experience as an RN is preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills are necessary.
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
