The Travel Long Term Care RN position involves providing nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility while traveling to various locations. This role emphasizes excellent interpersonal skills, patient care coordination, and the ability to adapt to different environments.

Job Requirements:

• A valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing.
• BLS certification.
• One to three years' experience as an RN preferred.

Candidates must have a strong ability to think critically, provide exceptional service, and possess good communication skills. They should also be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and operate a PC effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• To complete a thorough nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document their findings appropriately into the patient's record.
• To communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• To provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, monitor patients' responses to interventions, and report outcomes.
• To administer medications as ordered, maintaining accurate documentation.
• To maintain a clean and safe environment, including adequate stock of supplies, and transport patients as needed.
