Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care/LTC Traveler
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in CITY & STATE. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in long-term care.
About the Position:
- This is a TIME shift position, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing assessment of patients on the unit and documentation into patient records.
- Communication and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Providing and coordinating patient care with other healthcare team members.
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
- Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Transporting patients as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- One to three years' experience as an RN preferred.
- Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing and BLS certification.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
