Job Description
As a Long Term Care/LTC RN traveler with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the chance to work with a variety of patients, providing high-quality care and support to those who need it most. Your duties will include:
- Completing nursing assessments of patients on the unit and documenting appropriately into patient records.
- Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members, including administering medications as ordered and monitoring patients' responses to interventions.
- Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- One to three years' experience as an RN preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills.
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
