Job Summary
The Travel LPN provides bedside care to patients, assists with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, and documents health information. This role involves administering medications, maintaining medical records, and communicating patient status to supervising RNs.
Key Responsibilities:Administer Medications: Administer medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques and scope of practice.
Maintain Medical Records: Maintain patient's medical records with proper charting and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Communicate Patient Status: Communicate appropriately to supervising RN regarding changes in patient condition, vital signs, or status.
Provide Bedside Care: Provides bedside care to patients and assists with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
Required Qualifications:
- One to three years' experience as an LPN preferred.
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state where they will be practicing.
- BLS certification.
