Travel LPN Position Summary:
The Travel LPN provides essential patient care, assisting with daily living activities and administering medications while maintaining meticulous patient records. This role requires a valid state license, BLS certification, and strong interpersonal and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:1. Provides bedside care to patients and assists with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
2. Collects patient's health information and documents nursing history and physical assessment.
3. Administers medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques and scope of practice.
4. Maintains patient's medical records with proper charting and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
5. Communicates appropriately to supervising RN regarding changes in patient condition, vital signs, or status.
6. Follows hospital safety rules and procedures.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
1. One to three years' experience as an LPN preferred.
2. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills required.
3. Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
