This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical experience to join our team at a hospital in Harris, NY. The assignment will last 13 weeks and requires working night shifts.
About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, ACLS certification, and BLS certification. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, think critically, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records. They will also be expected to transport patients, maintain cleanliness of rooms, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, ACLS certification, and BLS certification. Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred. They should also possess strong interpersonal and technical skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.
