We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical to join our team. This is a 13 week travel assignment opportunity in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will have medical-surgical nursing experience and a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
- Serves as a liaison between healthcare providers, patient families, and hospital staff.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
Requirements:
- One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
- Medical-surgical nursing experience is essential.
- Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing.
- BLS certification.
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred.
