About the Job:

This 13 week Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse travel assignment is located in Alexandria, LA. Our client is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join their team for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
• Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
• Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.

Requirements:

• One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Medical-surgical nursing experience is essential.
• Must have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred.
