Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical
About the Job:
This is a 13 week travel assignment for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Danville, VA.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse and be certified in medical-surgical nursing. The RN will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing
- BLS certification
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred
