Responsibilities
As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Providing and coordinating patient care with other members of the healthcare team
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
- Administering medications as ordered and documenting appropriately
- Maintaining cleanliness of patient rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transporting patients as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in medical-surgical nursing
- Valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing
- BLS certification
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred
