About the Position:
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
- Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the operating room
- Ongoing certifications, such as BLS and Perioperative Nursing Certification (CNOR), are preferred
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a personal computer
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
