Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Medical Care

This is a travel assignment with a client in Plattsburgh, NY. The job starts on April 7th, 2025, and will last for 13 weeks. You will work Days shift.

The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in step-down and intermediate care nursing. They must also have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) is preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members.
• Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members.
• Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
• Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
• Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transporting patients as needed.
