Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
A travel Registered Nurse opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in a Progressive Care Unit at a client facility in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
• Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
• Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
• Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
• Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Other certifications may be required for this position.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
• Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.

Additional Information:
Step-down and intermediate care nursing experience is required. Must have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) is preferred. Fusion is an EOE/E-Verify Employer.

Salary : $1,872 - $2,256
