**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Step-down and intermediate care nursing to work on our 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin, BLS certification, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification. Responsibilities:
* Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
* Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately to maintain high standards of care.
* Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure timely adjustments to care plans.
* Share on-call responsibilities and respond promptly to patient needs within 30 minutes.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and adequate supply management.
* Transport patients as needed to facilitate smooth care transitions.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
* Other certifications may be required for this position.
* Critical thinking, service excellence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.
* Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess basic PC skills.
* Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
