Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses by providing hands-on care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers medically prescribed physical therapy to restore function and prevent disability
- Educates patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding physical therapy
- Observes and evaluates patient responses during treatment, documents and reports findings to Physical Therapist
- Follows hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
- One to three years' experience as a PTA preferred
- Valid PTA license and BLS certification
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
