Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure the best possible treatment plans.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong interpersonal and technical skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. You must also possess critical thinking skills to navigate complex situations and make sound decisions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A valid PTA license and BLS certification are mandatory for this position.
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- PC skills and the ability to read/comprehend written instructions are also necessary.
