What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Respiratory Therapist Position position at Fusion Medical Staffing?
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Ontario, OR. The ideal candidate will have one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and hold a valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
- Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
- Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required. Physical Abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, moving equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Technical/Motor Skills include the ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and being able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment.
