We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Case Manager to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment at one of our esteemed healthcare facilities in Jackson, MS.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in case management. The successful candidate will be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and hold a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing. A Case Management Certification (RN-BC) is highly desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including administering medications as ordered and documenting patient responses.
• Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
Requirements
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Technical/Motor Skills: Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and moving about when assisting with procedures or using department equipment.
• Mental Requirements: Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Sensory: Visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
