About the Role
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Speech Language Pathologist. You will be working with a client in [CITY & STATE] to provide speech therapy services to patients. The ideal candidate will have one to three years' experience as an SLP and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), a valid SLP license in the state where they will be practicing, and BLS certification. Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment
• Educating patients, other health professionals and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis
• Observing and evaluating patient responses during treatment, documenting and reporting findings accordingly
• Following hospital safety rules and procedures

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

• A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• A valid SLP license in the state where you will be practicing
• BLS certification
• One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred

Additionally, you will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to think critically and work independently.

Salary : $1,244 - $1,499
