Responsibilities:
- Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
- Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis.
- Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly.
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Speech-language pathology experience is essential.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP license in the state where they will be practicing
- BLS certification
