Position Overview
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- A valid SLP license in the state where you'll be practicing
- BLS certification
- One to three years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
