Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and gain valuable experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered and document appropriately.
• Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit needs.
• Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid SLP license in the state where they will be practicing
• BLS certification
• One to three years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
