Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description
The Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides medically prescribed speech language therapy to restore function and prevent disability due to injury or loss. This position requires administering treatment, maintaining patient records, and educating patients and their families while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:Administer Medically Prescribed Therapy:
• Administers speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
• Observes and evaluates patient responses during treatment, documents and reports findings accordingly.
Educate Patients and Families:
• Educates patients, other health professionals and family regarding speech therapy on an on-going basis.

Qualifications:
• One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), valid SLP license in the state where they will be practicing, and BLS certification required
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills, critical thinking, service excellence, and good communication skills
