Job Summary
We're seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with experience in the operating room to fill a 13-week assignment at a client hospital in Bradenton, FL. As a CST, you will be responsible for providing patient care, preparing operating rooms, and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide patient care and maintain a safe environment during surgical procedures
* Prepare operating rooms, including setting up equipment and sterilizing instruments
* Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
* Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
* Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
* Transport patients as needed
Requirements
* One to three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
* Cardiovascular operating room experience necessary
* Valid surgical technologist license if applicable
* BLS certification required
