Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Newton, MA. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist and be certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
About the Job:
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Certified Surgical Technologist to work in an operating room environment. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transport patients as needed.
Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Valid surgical technologist license if applicable.
- BLS certification.
- One to three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
